I almost couldn’t believe it when I first heard the Lord spoke to me in Chinese. While I speak that language, I hardly conversed with Him in it.
What I also found interesting was the Chinese words He gave me were common and sounded kinda crude. Nothing refine and elegant. Yet they speak to me because they always hit the nail on the head. Like these two words 摆平.
Put together, the two words mean settled and almost immediately, they reminded me of Jesus finished work when He said, “IT IS FINISHED!” But the difference is, the Chinese words convey the sense of “a done deal”.
Another verse that came to mind was Zechariah 4:7: “Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!'”
It’s as if the Lord is telling me, “You don’t have to worry about your problems for I have settled them for you. 我帮你摆平.” Wow. Just two words but the simple Chinese characters say so much to me!
